It will likely launch by January next year.
The company could also launch its first TWS earbuds in India alongside the Honor X9B.
Honor made its comeback in the Indian smartphone market in September this year with the launch of Honor 90. Now, a new Honor smartphone, probably Honor X9B, has been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website. Also, the company could launch its first TWS earbuds in India alongside this upcoming smartphone.
This BIS listing was spotted by 91mobiles. Although the listing doesn’t include a model number, it indicates that this new Honor device could launch in India soon.

It’s important to note that 91mobiles reports, citing industry sources, that the model listed on BIS is Honor X90B. However, according to us, this smartphone is expected to be Honor X9B.

The Honor X9B is expected to launch in India by the end of December or early January.
The upcoming smartphone could rival the Realme 11 Pro series, indicating that the expected price in India could be approximately ₹25,000. This would make it a more budget-friendly choice when compared to the Honor 90, which made its debut in India with a price tag of ₹37,999.
Although information about the upcoming Honor X9B is limited at this time, there’s a possibility that it might be a variant or an updated version of the Honor X9b, which is currently available in specific markets. Let’s check out the Hono X9b’s specs:
The Honor X9b comes equipped with a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
For photography, the Honor X9b houses a 108MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera on the back. Meanwhile, on the front, this device features a 16MP camera. Also, this device is packed with a 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
