To test its toughness, we dropped the Honor X9b from a height multiple times.
It is equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate.
Honor has dropped a new smartphone in India and there’s something really unique about it. This is the Honor X9b that comes with the USP of “Anti-Drop Display.” At first, I also thought this was some another marketing strategy but oh boy! It does have a tough display. However, this is not the only unique thing about this smartphone, there’s more.
The Chinese brand made its return to the Indian smartphone market with the Honor 90 5G. The Honor X9b is the second smartphone launched after a three-year gap of not announcing smartphones in India.
Honor X9b and its “Anti-Drop Display”
Firstly, let me tell you that the Honor X9b has a curved display, considered more fragile than a flat display. Honor labels it the ‘Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display,’ certified five stars by Switzerland’s SGS. For those who don’t know, SGS is a company that provides testing, inspection, and certification services. To test its toughness, we dropped the Honor X9b from a height multiple times, and the claims proved accurate. The display didn’t even have a scratch.
