Amazon has commenced registrations for the Honor View 10 (V 10), the company’s flagship smartphone. Honor globally announced the device earlier this month and it will go on sale in India starting January 8. The Honor V10 costs €499 (Rs 38,000 approx) in Europe, however, it's expected to be priced between Rs 32,999 and Rs 34,999 in India to compete with the OnePlus 5T (review). You can register for the smartphone here.
The highlight of the Honor View 10 is its Kirin 970 SoC, which comes with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for handling AI related tasks. It also sports a FullView display and comes with a dual rear camera setup. We observed in our first impressions of the device that it “is a feature rich phone offering more than the competition on paper.” You can check out our first impressions of the smartphone here.
In terms of hardware, the Honor V10 features a 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display at a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a taller 18:9 aspect ratio. It is equipped with a 3750 mAh battery and comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is integrated with the home button.
Further, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with one 16MP RGB sensor and another 20MP monochrome sensor. The main camera sports a f/1.8 aperture lens and comes with dual LED and PDAF support. The device features a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with EMUI 8.0 layered on top and will be available with 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of storage.
