Honor, Huawei's e-brand is expected to launch the Honor V9 smartphone on February 21. The company's launch teaser has been spotted on China's microblogging platform, Weibo. The smartphone, like the Honor 6X and Honor 8, features a dual rear camera setup. This launch comes just a few days ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Honor V9 has already crossed China's certification website TENAA and its specifications have been revealed. The listing reveals the device comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and is powered by the company's octa-core Kirin processor. The smartphone is rumoured to launch with 4GB or 6GB RAM, and the storage options will be 64GB and 128GB.
The camera on the Honor V9 is likely to be same as the one found on the Honor 6X. The listing reveals it sports a combination of 12MP + 2MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. The listing also confirms the device will feature a 3900mAh battery.
The leaked images shows the device sports a rear fingerprint sensor and a metal unibody design. Huawei, with its Honor brand, has been expanding its lineup of smartphones with dual rear camera setups. However, the Honor V9's overall specifications hint at the device being a flagship offering.
