But what’s the difference between the devices? Let’s check out.
The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition comes in two variants: one with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage priced at CNY 6,999 (approximately ₹81,000), and another with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage priced at CNY 7,699 (around ₹88,000). It is offered in Sky Purple and Ink Black colours.
On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately ₹1,15,000) and comes in Iceberry powder and Agate Gray colours.
The Honor Magic 6 RSR draws inspiration from Porsche cars. It showcases a rounded hexagonal camera module atop a glass back.
Meanwhile, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate comes with a square-shaped camera module. It features vegan leather on the back.
The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design offer the same key specifications. Both devices feature a 6.8-inch display, and are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Both phones boast a triple rear camera system, which consists of a 180MP OIS periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, both devices sport a 50MP wide-angle camera along with a 3D depth sensor.
When it comes to battery capacity, both the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and the Honor Magic 6 RSR pack a 5600mAh unit with 80W wired fast charging support and 66W wireless fast charging support.
In my opinion, the choice between the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design for the Indian market depends on the preferences of consumers.
While the Magic 6 RSR boasts a design inspired by Porsche cars, it comes at a higher price point compared to the Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition, on the other hand, provides similar specifications at a more affordable price, making it a more attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
The Ultimate Edition holds a significant advantage due to its lower pricing. Indian consumers typically prioritise value for money, making the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition a more appealing option for a wider audience.
