Honor India tweet hints at Honor 90 series launch, check price and specs

The Honor 90 and the Honor 90 Pro were revealed in the Chinese market in May this year.

Taking to Twitter (now X), Chinese tech-brand Honor hinted at the launch of its new products in India. Rumours online speculate that this new product could be the Honor 90 series. Honor has not launched any of its products in the market since the last launch in 2020. Almost three years later, the company took to Twitter to announce that its new products will hit the markets soon.

What makes this news more authentic is that the former CEO of Realme India, Madhav Sheth also gave us a hint at his association with the Chinese company. Further, the news about the devices being the  Honor 90 series is also strong because the Honor 90 as well as the Honor 90 Pro were launched in China earlier this year.

The Honor 90 and the Honor 90 Pro were revealed in the Chinese market in May this year. The initial price tag on these devices was CNY 2,499 approx ₹29,160 and CNY 3,299.approx ₹38,000, respectively.

Let’s now talk about the specs of these two speculated smartphones.

Both the Honor 90 and the Honor 90 Pro sport a full-HD+ curved OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate. Speaking of the processors, the Honor 90 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, while on the other hand, the Honor 90 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

On the camera front, the two smartphones offer a triple camera setup with a 200 megapixel primary lens. The Honor 90 and the Honor 90 pro run on a 5,000mAh battery pack and support 66W and 99W fast charging respectively.

We still have to wait for more information confirming these two smartphones from Honor.
