Honor India tweeted a video and a message which clearly mentions “Honor 9N” as the name of the phone it will unveil later this month. The device will have a dual-camera setup and fingerprint sensor at the back.

Last week Huawei's sub-brand Honor sent out invites to the media in India that read “#NOORDINARYBEAUTY.” The invitation did not delve out any information about which phone the company will unveil on July 24, but several reports claimed that Honor will launch the 2018 edition of Honor 9i that it unveiled in June in China. It was also reported that Honor will bring Honor 9i (2018) as Honor 9X in India but the Chinese company has now confirmed that they will launch a device called the Honor 9N in the country.

In a tweet, the company posted a video showing a Blue-coloured phone with dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back. The message along with the video read, “Beauty is not what meets the eye but an essence that is all around us! Get ready to witness beauty like never before at the grand launch of #Honor9N on 24th July! Mark your calendar! #BeautyAllAround.” In another tweet, the company annuonced that the smartphone will have a glass body. "Inspired by beauty, the #Honor9N's stunning glass body is crafted to reflect #BeautyAllAround you & captivate your senses! Get ready to be mesmerized at the grand launch on 24th July!"

It is possible that the Honor 9N may get the same specifications of the Honor 9i (2018). As far as the details of the Honor 9i (2018) is concerned, the company launched it with GPU Turbo technology, a hardware-software integration that Huawei claims can deliver faster performance while reducing power consumption. Under the hood, Honor 9i (2018) is powered by the Kirin 659 processor and comes in three variants: 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. It sports a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display comes with thin bezels and a notch. The dual-camera system on the back has 13MP and 2MP sensors. The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor. The phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and the prices start at 1,399 yuan (approximately Rs 14,500) in China.
