Honor 7X to go on sale in India today via Amazon: Price, specs, features, offers and all else you need to know

The Honor 7X will be up for its first sale today via Amazon.in at 12PM. The price of the smartphone was recently unveiled at a global launch event in London. The Honor 7X is a budget smartphone and can be purchased for Rs 12,999.

The device sports a 5.93-inch Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a norm followed by most smartphone makers these days. The display of the phone has a 2160 x 1080 resolution and is covered with a is covered by a 2.5D curved glass. At the back, the Honor 7X features a metal build with a slight curve for an ergonomic finish. A fingerprint sensor also rests at the back of the device. The highlight of the device is its thin-bezel design and a dual rear camera setup, featuring 16MP + 2MP sensors.

In terms of specifications, the Honor 7X houses Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 659 chipset with 4GB RAM. It will be available in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The 32GB variant of the Honor 7X is the cheapest at Rs 12,999, while the 64GB variant will cost you Rs 15,999.

Amazon is offering an instant discount of Rs 1,250 with ICICI Bank Credit Cards. Airtel is also offering 90GB data with the purchase of the Honor 7X. Airtel’s Amazon exclusive offer will give users an extra benefit of 15GB 3G/4G data per recharge for 6 recharges (on Rs 349 prepaid recharge) with the purchase of Honor 7X. For Airtel Postpaid customers, an extra benefit of 15GB 3G/4G data is being offered for 6 months on postpaid plan of Infinity 499 and above.

Further, Amazon is also offering a maximum discount of Rs 300 on the purchase of Kindle ebooks on the Kindle Android app. The offer is valid for first time registrants of the Kindle for Android reading app on the Honor 7X and can be availed starting December 8, 2017 till February 28, 2018.

To make the purchase even more lucrative, Honor has a bunch of prizes up for grabs when customers register for the Honor 7X.

On the software front, the Honor 7X comes with Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 skinned on top of the OS. The entire package is powered by a 3340 mAh battery and the phone uses a micro USB port for charging.
