Honor has announced the launch of Honor 7X with bezel-less design and dual camera setup in China. The smartphone is the successor to Honor 7 and it follows the design guidelines with thinner bezels and dual rear cameras.
The Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and taller aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass and has a slightly curved metallic back for a more ergonomic finish. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and option for up to 128GB storage. It also supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
On the camera front, it features a 16MP primary camera with a 2MP secondary camera for bokeh effect. It gets an 8MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skin on top and has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is around 7.6mm thick and weighs 165 grams.
The Honor 7X is backed by a 3340mAh battery and uses microUSB port for charging. It will go on sale in China on October 17 at a starting price of 1,300 Yuan (around Rs 13,000) for the 32GB version. The 64 gig variant is priced at 1,700 Yuan (around Rs 17,000) while the top-end model with 128GB storage will retail for 2,000 Yuan (around Rs 20,000). Honor recently launched Honor 9i in India and it might follow up with the launch of Honor 7X in the country.
