Honor has announced a new version of the Honor 7, called the Enhanced Edition. This version of the phone will come with Android Marshmallow v6.0 with Huawei’s EMUI 4.0 layered over it. Another difference between the Honor 7 Enhanced Edition and the standard phone is the storage space. While the original had to make do with 16GB of onboard storage, the new version will come with 32GB of storage.

The rest of the specifications of the phone are the same as the Honor 7. There is a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and the phone is powered by a 2.2GHz Kirin 935 SoC with 3GB of RAM. At the back of the phone is a 20MP camera with an 8MP front camera. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor located on the rear of the device as well as a 3100mAh battery. The Enhanced Edition also comes with a 9V-2A charger which can charge the phone quickly. Additionally, it has a voice-activated virtual assistant which is developed by Huawei and Baidu. The phone is priced at 1,990 Yuan in China, which is about Rs. 20,600.

Huawei unveiled the Honor 7 back in July this year, but launched the phone in India a just couple of months ago. The device was launched for Rs. 22,999 and is exclusive to Flipkart. During the launch of the Honor 7 in India, the company had also announced the Honor Z1 Band fitness tracker, which they launched last month. The Z1 band is priced at Rs. 5,499, and is available exclusively on Flipkart. The fitness tracker is waterproof and dust proof with IP68 certification, and has Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. It comes with a 1.06-inch POLED display with a Cortex M4 STM32F411 chip. The Z1 Band is compatible with Android and iOS, and Honor claims that the device has a battery life of three days.
