Honor 6X, the latest smartphone with dual rear camera setup will be available for sale today. The smartphone was announced in India on 24 January and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting 2PM today.
Honor 6X is the successor to last year's Honor 5X and it features a 5.5-inch full HD display. The smartphone is powered by the company's octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor clocked at 2.1GHz. The smartphone was launched in two storage options – a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and a 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage. For today's sale, Amazon is selling only the 3GB RAM option.
Honor 6X, like the Coolpad Cool 1, offers a dual rear camera setup with a primary 12MP sensor and secondary 2MP sensor. The secondary camera is capable of capturing additional data like depth, which can be used for wide aperture shots. The camera also offers an option to refocus once the an image is clicked. There is also an 8MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording and support for beautification modes.
In our review, we observed that "Honor 6X is well built and offers a really good camera, but the performance could have been better." The smartphone runs EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the handset houses a 3340mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM model while the 4GB variant is priced at Rs 15,999.
