Honor is here with its new 200 series smartphones. During the VivaTech 2024 event held in Paris, Honor unveiled its new lineup of smartphones. This includes two smartphones: the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. During the event, Honor also showcased how it is stepping foot in the world of AI. The smartphones will pack AI features, as is the norm. Let’s find out more about this.
The company said that the upcoming Honor 200 series smartphones will offer an AI-backed Portrait experience. For this, Honor is using datasets from Studio Harcourt which is a renowned French photography studio known for its classic celebrity portraits. AI will help users achieve studio-quality portrait photos, replicating the studio’s signature lighting and shadow effects.
As far as the design is concerned, the company only teased the design of the Honor 200 Pro. It will feature a dual-tone glossy and marble-like patterned finish in the Tian Hai Qing shade. On the rear, you will get to see a triple camera setup with an LED flash. The right edge will house the power button and volume rockers.

Honor has incorporated a four-layer AI architecture within its MagicOS. This includes a cross-device and cross-OS AI platform. With this, users will be able to use features like typing on their smartphone from a laptop keyboard or using their phone camera as a webcam.
The platform-level AI, on the other hand, supports intent-based human-computer interaction and personalised resource allocation. There’s App-level AI and Interface to Cloud-AI services too on the third and the fourth layer. These are for privacy and security and are backed by Google.
