Nokia’s parent company HMD just launched its first phone some weeks back globally, and now finally it has launched in India. The HMD Skyline is now officially available in India. If we look at the design, it reminds us of the Nokia N9 and Lumia 1520. The most unique thing about the design of the phone is the fact that it has a “Gen 2” repairable design.

HMD Skyline specifications

The HMD Skyline packs a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display. It offers up to 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 support, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and runs on Android 14. HMD has promised two years of software upgrades and three years of security updates.

Coming to the cameras now, it packs a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto zoom. For selfies, there’s a 50-megapixel front camera too. On the battery front, there’s a 4600mAh battery, with 33-watt wired charging, 15-watt magnetic wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

So the USP about this smartphone is the fact that it has a repairable design. HMD claims that you can easily open the phone by unscrewing a cam screw and disconnecting the display cable. This will make the dismantling easy. There’s also a quick access button.

It is available in two colour options: Neon Pink and Twisted Black.
