Nokia is reportedly planning to launch Nokia 3.4 in India by mid-December.
The Nokia 3.4 will further expand the company's affordable smartphone portfolio
HMD Global's Nokia 2.4 recently went on sale in India. Soon after releasing the budget smartphones, the company is now reportedly planning to launch Nokia 3.4 in the country by mid-December.
According to a report from NokiaPowerUser, HMD Global will release the Nokia 3.4 in India to further expand its affordable smartphone portfolio. The Nokia 2.4 is priced at Rs 10,399 and competes against the likes of Redmi 9 Prime, Realme 7 and the newly launched Micromax In Note 1. It makes it evident that the 3.4 will be priced above Rs 10,000 for the base variant. It is said to come in multiple storage variants, with the base model with 3GB RAM, expected to retail for around Rs 12,000. The company might put the phone up for pre-orders by the end of December.
What to expect from Nokia 3.4?
The Nokia 3.4 sits between 2.4 and 5.3, which were launched globally earlier this year. It has a 6.3-inch HD+display with a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP front camera. The rear cameras on the Nokia 3.4 consist of a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth camera.
The smartphone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chip and is paired with up to 4GB RAM as well as 64GB storage. The phone launched with Android 10, but Nokia says it is ready for Android 11 which should also be a part of the Android One program.
The phone uses a 4000mAh battery, and it supports up to 10W of fast charging.
As of now, the company has not revealed any official launch plans for the Nokia 3.4. While NokiaPowerUser has been on point with its leaks in the past, we would still recommend you to take this with a grain of salt.
