HMD Global has announced the launch date of a new smartphone lineup in India. This will be the HMD Crest series that is set to launch in the country on July 25. The brand hasn’t shared the details of the devices yet except for the launch date. HMD India has shared this news on X (formerly Twitter) and the fans also seem excited on the platform. Coming to the specifications now, not a lot is known yet as to what the upcoming smartphones can pack. But an Amazon microsite has given a slight hint at what to expect. First, we might get to see a glass-back finish on the HMD Crest smartphones. Further, reports suggest that the smartphone can carry a circular camera module. On the front, it can have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
Speaking of the cameras, HMD has been emphasising ‘Perfect Portraits’. This can mean that we’ll get an enhanced camera experience. Lastly, these can be self-repairable as well.

Furthermore, you get a 13-megapixel main camera and a VGA sensor on the back. For selfies, it uses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Lastly, it is packed with a 5000mAh battery.
