Here’s what to expect during Sony’s event at MWC 2016. Watch it Live here.
Sony is expected to launch two Xperia smartphones and a Bluetooth headset called the Smart Ear during its event.
Sony is holding its press conference at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and the company is expected to launch a bunch of new devices. Evan Blass, aka @evleaks posted an image of a phone dubbed the Xperia PP10. However, he also noted that the name could be a code name for the device and not the final retail branding. Details of the handset were not revealed, but the design is pretty similar to the Sony Xperia Z5 phones. The images show a power button, volume, and a camera shutter button.
Blass also tweeted another image of a Bluetooth headset called the Smart Ear. The device looks similar to the Moto Hint Bluetooth earbuds. He also tweeted another image of a phone, but this time he gave no name for the device. Like the Xperia PP10, the phone comes with power, volume and dedicated camera button. However, shape of the power button is similar to older Sony Xperia phones, which could mean that this particular device doesn't come with a fingerprint scanner.
Sony is scheduled to hold its event at 1:00pm IST and we will be embedding the live stream of the event in this story.
