The Google Pixel and Pixel XL were initially made available exclusively on Flipkart
Google Pixel and Pixel XL, the first flagship Android smartphones from the search giant, will now be available from Snapdeal as well. Back in October, the smartphones were launched as Flipkart exclusive devices.
As launch offers, Snapdeal is giving cashback and mobile protection plans with every purchase of Pixel and Pixel XL devices. Snapdeal is offering Rs 10,000 in the form of Yatra e-wallet with every Pixel and Pixel XL purchase. There is also a free mobile protection plan worth Rs 5,999 covering accidental damage for a year.
For Yes Bank credit or debit card users, Snapdeal is offering an instant discount of Rs 10,000 while HDFC Bank credit card users can avail 12 percent discount and up to 5X reward points. Google Pixel starts at Rs 57,000 for the 32GB variant while Pixel XL retails at a starting price of Rs 67,000 for the 32GB storage model.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL feature a metal design and after sales services are being handled by HTC. The Pixel features a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, while the Pixel XL sports a larger 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. Both the devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor aided by 4GB RAM.
The phones feature a 12.3MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection and laser-assisted autofocus. The camera records 4K videos with electronic image stabilisation and offers dual LED flash. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with support for Full HD video recording.
