CAD-based renders of the Pixel 9a have surfaced online that reveal its entire design.
According to these latest renders, the “camera bar” is missing from the Pixel 9a.
One more change that we can see in the new Pixel 9a could be the display bezels.
The hype around the Google Pixel 9 series is starting to settle, and now the Pixel 9a is coming into focus. The Google Pixel 9 launched globally last month with four devices, and it seems the fifth one is already in the pipeline. I am referring to the Google Pixel 9a, which will be the more affordable variant of the Pixel 9 series. CAD-based renders of this smartphone have surfaced online that reveal its entire design. Last year, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a looked almost identical, but this time there might be some differences.
A famous tipster known as OnLeaks has collaborated with Android Headline to share these renders. The smartphone appears in Black colour and will most likely come with a metal frame. Speaking of the frame, there is a power button and volume rockers on the right panel and a USB-C and speaker grill at the bottom. Further, it can feature a flat display just like the Pixel 9 and there is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
So far, the Pixel 9a seems exactly the same as the Pixel 9, but if we look at the back of these renders, there is a big change. In the recent Pixel series, Google has been launching smartphones with a lifted camera module, also known as the “camera bar.” However, according to these latest renders, the “camera bar” is missing from the Pixel 9a. The back panel features a cylindrical camera module placed horizontally alongside an LED flashlight. There’s Google branding right in the center of the back as well.
One more change that we can see in the new Pixel 9a could be the display bezels. The Google Pixel 9a can feature bigger display bezels than its predecessors.
The leaks about new Google Pixel phones have started to surface, which means the tech giant can announce the launch anytime soon. For now, Google is staying tight-lipped about the Pixel 9a, so stay tuned for official announcements on the upcoming Pixel 9a.
