August is here and with that, we know something exciting in the tech world will be coming as well. I am talking about the new Google Pixel 9 series that is set to launch globally on August 14. Like every year, the tech giant will be launching its new smartphone lineup during the Made by Google event. Google has confirmed two smartphones from the lineup; the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. What’s more interesting is that Google India has also confirmed the launch of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in India as well. Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold could feature a triple camera setup, holding a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor. For selfies, it is expected to have a 10-megapixel selfie shooter. Further, it is said to have an 8-inch foldable display and a 6.4-inch cover display. As for the pricing, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to debut in Europe for €1,899, which will be around Rs 1,70,000.

Google Pixel 9 Pro
The Google Pixel 9 Pro is expected to launch with the Tensor G4 chipset, which could be paired with up to 16GB RAM. Another model is expected this year, which is the Pixel 9 Pro XL, and this might also be powered by the same chipset. Moreover, the Pixel 9 Pro is rumoured to be packed with a 4558mAh battery, whereas the Pixel 9 Pro XL could house a 4942mAh battery. The Google Pixel 9 Pro is rumoured to launch in Europe at a starting price of £1,099 (approx. Rs 1,00,000).

The Google Pixel 9 is said to feature the same camera setup as last year in the Pixel 8. This phone can come in four colour options; Black, Light Grey, Porcelain, and Pink. The Pixel 9 will reportedly have a 6.3-inch display. It might be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM. The Pixel 9 is expected to launch in Europe at a price of €899, which will be around Rs 80,000 in India.
