The Made by Google event is just here and prior to that, all the leaks have surfaced online. We know a lot about the upcoming Pixel 9 series already. Just waiting for the launch to hit it out of the park now. But ahead of that, fresh leaks reveal the US price list of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have surfaced online. Let’s see how much these smartphones might cost.
As per the fresh leak by a Reddit user, 5XDylanBISHF, the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to start at $999.99 with a T-Mobile plan. Since the leaked images have originated from T-Mobile, it is expected that there could be potential carrier-specific pricing strategies.
On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is listed with a starting price of $1,199. This is expected to be the price of the 256GB storage variant. However, there’s some confusion as the list also mentions a $1,199 price for the 512GB variant. This means that we should really take these prices with a pinch of salt.
According to this leak, the Pixel 9 Pro is launching in the US at $999, which was also the launch price of its predecessor, the Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 Pro landed in India with a starting price of Rs 1,06,999, so we might see a slightly lower price for the Pixel 9 Pro due to recent reductions in custom charges in India.
Coming to the Pixel 9 Pro XL, before we talk about its pricing, we are not sure whether it will come to India or not. If it comes to India, then it might cost around Rs 1,20,000.
Apart from these two devices from the Pixel 9 series, the prices of the other two are still awaited. But it’s just a couple of days more till Google itself puts all of these rumours to rest.
On the specifications front, it is expected that the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will receive significant upgrades in hardware and software. These two smartphones will compete directly with the likes of iPhones and Galaxy S series.
