The Google Pixel 9 series is finally out with one more smartphone this time. This new lineup includes three smartphones; the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The all-new Pixels are equipped with Google’s Tensor G4 chipset and on-device AI capabilities. Google has made a lot of changes to its new Pixel 9 series. Let me give you a proper brief about them.
Google Pixel 9
The Google Pixel 9 is equipped with a 6.9-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2424 pixels resolution. This display has 2700 nits of peak brightness, supports HDR, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Moreover, it is powered by the Tensor G4 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on Android 14 and will receive software and security updates for seven years. Further, it is packed with a 4700mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging support.
For photography, this smartphone has a dual camera setup, holding a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, it has a 10.5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Google has launched the Pixel 9 in India at a starting price of Rs 79,999.

Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL
Now, this time, Google has launched the Pixel 9 Pro with the same size as the standard Pixel 9. And the bigger size goes to the new Pixel 9 Pro XL. Basically, the Pixel 9 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with 1280 x 2856 pixels resolution and the Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with 1344 x 2992 pixels resolution. Both these displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, and 3000 nits of peak brightness, and are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Both phones are powered by the Tensor G4 processor, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. These phones also run on Android 14 and promise seven years of software and security upgrades. The Pixel 9 Pro houses a 4700mAh battery, whereas the Pixel 9 Pro XL boasts a 5060mAh battery. Both phones support 45-watt fast charging as well.

They feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 5x optical zoom. Coming to their pricing, the Pixel 9 Pro has been launched in India for Rs 1,09,999 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL rolls out at a starting price of Rs 1,24,999.
