Google Pixel 9 leak surfaces on the internet, talks about display changes: Find out more

Google just dropped the Pixel 8 series globally with plenty of upgrades and changes. However, it’s been only two days and we are now seeing Pixel 9’s leaks on the internet already. Well, the leak is not all about the Google Pixel 9 series and also includes the next-generation Pixel Fold. The Pixel 9 series is going on sale in India on October 12 through Flipkart. This means that people haven’t even seen the Pixel 8 series yet and Pixel 9 leaks are already surfacing on the internet, claiming a change in Display configuration. Let’s check it out.

The CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultant, Ross Young has shared that they have published the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9a, and next-gen Pixel Fold in their latest Advanced Smartphone Report. He revealed that all four smartphones will come with a bigger display. 

Currently, the Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch display and Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch display. The Pixel Fold is equipped with a 5.8-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch foldable display. Speaking of the Pixel 8a, the brand has not launched this smartphone yet but is expected to launch soon. 

There are no other details about the Pixel 9 series on the internet as of right now because it is too soon to hear about it. However, since the Google Pixel 8 has just been released in the market, let’s see what that smartphone packs.

Google Pixel 8 is equipped with a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on the latest Android 14 OS.

The Pixel 8 is powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. It packs a 4575mAh battery with 27-watt fast charging and 18-watt wireless charging support. 

For photography, the Pixel 8 uses a 50-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, Laser AF, OIS support, and a 12-megapixel Ultrawide lens.
