Google has finally launched the Pixel 8a smartphone in India. This handset comes as the affordable option in the Pixel 8 lineup. Notably, the launch comes before Google’s upcoming I/O event, set to kick off next week.

The Google Pixel 8a handset features a 6.1-inch display with up to 2,000nits of peak brightness and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is equipped with the Google Tensor G3 chip.
For photography, the Pixel 8a houses a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP main lens and a 13MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie shooter. Furthermore, it packs a 4,492mAh battery.
Powered by the Tensor G3, the Pixel 8a is packed with AI-powered photo and video editing tools, including Best Take, Magic Editor, and Audio Magic Eraser. Pixel 8a also comes with Super Res Zoom up to 8x and features like Magic Eraser, Night Sight and Photo Unblur.
Moreover, Gemini is coming to Pixel 8a. This built-in AI assistant lets you type, talk and add images for all kinds of help on the go — from brainstorming ideas, writing a thank you note or even planning your next vacation.
Other features include Circle to Search, AI-powered Pixel Call Assist features, Audio Emoji, and more.
The Pixel 8a is launched in four colour options: Aloe, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain.

The 8GB+128GB variant of the Google Pixel 8a is priced at ₹52,999 in India. On the other hand, the 8GB+256GB variant of the Pixel 8a costs ₹59,999.
