Google is just a few days away from launching its Google Pixel 8 series. In a teaser, the tech giant has already revealed some details about its 8th-Gen smartphone series such as the launch date, design, and more. In the latest development, a YouTuber has posted Shorts on YouTube of unboxing the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This revealed the package contents and the colour of the smartphones. Along with that, the Google Pixel 8 Pro has been spotted on the Geekbench listing, revealing the performance-based details.

The Google Pixel 8 series has been unboxed by a reviewer known as PBKReviews. The reviewer revealed the accessories and the Google Pixel 8 smartphones out of the box. Talking about the unboxing, the Google Pixel 8 was seen in the Hazel colour and the Pixel 8 Pro was in Obsidian colour.
Along with that, Google will send its Pixel 8 users a USB Type-C cable, a USB A to C connector, and a startup manual.
Next up, the Google Pixel 8 Pro has also appeared on the Geekbench listing. The smartphone scored 1760 points in the single-core test and 4442 points in the multi-core test. The Google Pixel 8 Pro is expected to launch with the Google Tensor G3 chipset. The listing revealed that the Pro variant will house up to 12GB RAM and run on the Android 14 operating system.

The Google Pixel 8 series is all set to launch globally on October 4. In India, you can pre-order the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro starting from October 5.
As for the pricing, there were rumours that the Google Pixel 8 would be launched with a $100 price hike. Last year, Google introduced the Pixel 7 in the US at a starting price of $599; however, this year, the Pixel 8 could start at $699.
