Google Pixel 8 series is set to launch soon on October 4. Ahead of its launch, almost everything about the smartphone phone is circulating on the internet. We now have our hands on the speculations of the two upcoming Google Pixel 8 series smartphones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. However, the specifications are totally based on leaks, which might or might not be true.
A 91mobiles report has revealed the key specifications of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. With the smartphones all set to launch next month on October 4, here’s what we can expect from the upcoming Pixel 8 series.
We can expect the Pixel 8 to pack a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz-120Hz refresh rate, offering up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The phone packs a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus cover and back.
It will most likely be powered by a Google Tensor G3 chipset which will come along with Titan M2 security coprocessor. The smartphone could come in an 8GB + 128/256 GB variant. On the camera front, we can expect a 50-megapixel Octa PD wide sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor OIS. On the front, you could get a 10.5-megapixel Dual PD lens for your selfies.
Speaking of the battery, we can expect a 4,575mAh battery which could come with up to 27-watt fast charging support. Additionally, the Google Pixel 8 could also come with 18-watt wireless charging support.
You’ll get three colour options here: Obsidian, Hazel and Rose.

It could pack a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate, offering up to 2,400 nits of peak brightness. The Pixel 8 Pro could be powered by Google Tensor G3 chipset along with Titan M2 security coprocessor. It could come in an 8GB+512GB variant. In the American market, there’s going to be a 1TB variant too.
On the camera front, we could get a 50-megapixel Octa PD wide lens, a 48-megapixel Quad PD ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel Quad PD telephoto lens. The Pixel 8 Pro offers Super Rez Zoom of up to 30x OIS and EIS when used in wide and telephoto modes. The front packs a 10.5-megapixel Dual PD selfie shooter too.

On the battery front, we get a 5,050mAh with up to 30-watt fast charging support. Additionally, Qi-certified wireless charging up to 23-watt is also supported. The three colour options for this phone are Obsidian, Porcelain, and Bay.
