Circle to Search is a cool feature that Samsung showed off with its Samsung Galaxy S24 series. It was also seen on the Google Pixel 8 series, and now with its latest Pixel Feature Drop, Google is planning on bringing this feature to Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. In addition to this, a couple of more features will be added as well which will mostly be powered by AI.

Google confirmed the news through a post. Now, you will be able to search stuff using a new way on your Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro. Once this is out, you can simply circle on the particular thing that you wish to search about and you can easily search stuff without having to switch between apps. You can think of the “Circle to Search” option as a more advanced Google Lens feature.

How to use Circle to Search in Google Pixel 7?

Circle to search in Google Pixel 7

It is pretty simple. Firstly, long press the home button or the navigation bar. Now once you have activated the feature, simply circle, scribble, or highlight anything that is on your screen to get a search result. You can even tap an image, text, or video and find more details about it.

Circle to Search is not the only feature that will be added. We will also get to see features such as an improved Call Screen feature. If you call someone and they are not responding, then you will see a ‘hello’ chip. Once you tap this, Google Assistant will give you a prompt and tell you when to speak. It will also ask you to stay a bit longer on the call.

Lastly, Pixel smartphones will now be able to use the native camera on the Instagram app to directly upload 10-bit HDR videos and Ultra HDR photos to Instagram.

Well, we don’t know the exact date when the new feature drop will go live but it is expected to be out soon in the coming weeks.
