California-based tech giant Google is about to unveil the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro today at the Made by Google event. The event begins at 07:30 PM IST, and you can watch it on the company’s official YouTube channel. This time around, Google is releasing the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro in India after four years of releasing any flagship in the country. Ahead of the launch, Google has revealed the pre-order offers, which include discounts on some of Google’s most popular smartphone accessories. Google Pixel 7 pre-order offer will be available on Flipkart
Google has announced that those who pre-order the handset can purchase the Google Pixel Buds-A Series at Rs. 5,999 or the Fitbit Inspire 2 fitness band for Rs. 4,999. The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro pre-order offers will be live from 08:15 PM IST, i.e., 45 minutes after the launch event begins. Since the company has partnered with Flipkart to retail the phones in India, the pre-order offers are exclusively available via Flipkart. Added benefits on pre-ordering the Pixel 7 series include free screen damage protection and priority delivery, as mentioned on the Flipkart mobile app.
Let’s talk about discounted accessories for a bit. Launched in August 2021, the Google Pixel Buds A comes with 12mm dynamic drivers, offers adaptive sound, and has beamforming mics for clear hands-free calls. Although the Pixel Buds A-Series retail for Rs. 9,999, currently, they are available on Flipkart for Rs. 6,999. The Fitbit Inspire 2 is available on Flipkart for Rs. 5,999 and provides 24/7 heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, call and message notifications and lasts up to 10 days on a single charge.
What to expect from the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro
The Pixel 7 could come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen, while the Pixel 7 Pro could feature a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO screen that supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the Pixel 7 is expected to feature a dual-rear camera system, while the Pixel 7 Pro should arrive with a triple rear-facing camera. Google has already confirmed that the Tensor G2 chipset will power both smartphones. A recent report by WinFuture suggests that the Indian pricing of the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro could be around Rs. 52,000 and Rs. 73,000, respectively.
