Google Pixel 6a could come in the first quarter of 2022. If it happens so, then that would be earlier compared to the arrival of its predecessor. In any case, we are already seeing more details about the device popping up on the web. For instance, just recently, the Pixel 6a has gotten listed on the Geekbench website. As such, along with the benchmark scores, one can also learn about the processor and memory details of the device. This includes specifications like Tensor SoC and 6GB of RAM.

Google Pixel 6a would be a trimmed-down version of the original Pixel 6. Still, according to leaked renders, it is likely to share the new design language brought in by the Pixel 6 lineup. This includes a camera bump at the back and a display with a punch-hole cutout.
At the back, the device is expected to carry two cameras with 12MP sensors, same as the ones from the Pixel 5-series. The front may feature an 8MP selfie shooter located on a 6.2-inch FHD+ 90Hz panel.

At the core, the device could house a Tensor SoC as the Geekbench test tells us. Also, the same source reveals that the phone has 6GB of memory. Now, it could come out in other memory options too. We will know once it debuts. Among other things, you could expect Android 12 and USB-C port. In the months and weeks leading up to launch, we may get more details about the device. So, stay tuned.
