The Google Pixel 3 Series of phones were claimed to be the most leaked handsets but now it seems that the Google Pixel 4 will slowly take that crown away from its predecessor. Google is expected to unveil the Pixel smartphones in October, but leaks surrounding the next iteration of phones by the tech giant are already in abundance. In the latest leak, live images of apparently the larger variant of the Pixel 4 series are now making rounds on the internet. These images show the phone with a pill-shaped punch hole display.
What’s interesting here is that the latest images are different from the Pixel 4 XL 5K renders that Steve H.McFly (aka OnLeaks) shared on Twitter. The striking difference between the two is the positioning of the earpiece. The latest images do not show an earpiece. They show the phone in one of the bulky cases that are meant to hide as much design as possible. There are thin bezels and an option to hide the punch hole by turning off the pixels in that area of the display. This will likely introduce a ‘chin’ on the top end of the display.
If these renders are to be believed, the front-facing dual speakers will not be present on the device. All four bezels seem to be the same size. As mentioned, the alleged Pixel 4 XL has a pill-shaped punch hole, previously seen on the Samsung Galaxy S10+. This corroborates the reveal by SlashLeaks.

According to OnLeaks, the Google Pixel 4 is expected to have a huge square camera bump similar to the one that has already been seen in the leaked images of the Apple iPhone XI. The development is confirmed by YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger through a video (see below) on its channel Unbox Therapy. He showed moulds of the Pixel 4 phones that are given to the case manufacturers. The moulds also confirmed the presence of the earpiece.
The last leak comes from concept art creator Antoine Collignon (aka @omegear) who ‘recreated’ the Google Pixel 4 based on the available leaks. He shows a phone having a near bezel-less device with a triple camera setup enclosed in a square module. He also adds a transparent glowing “G” (Google logo) to represent that the phone is Made by Google. Given the high number of contradictory reports, reader discretion is advised. Users have to take the information with a pinch of salt.
