Google Pixel 2 XL features a bezel-less design with a 6-inch display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with November security patch and comes with a two year warranty.

The Google Pixel 2 XL, the larger of the two Pixel smartphones, is now available in India. Pre-orders for the flagship smartphone began on October 26, and the device is now available exclusively on Flipkart, and offline retailers like Reliance Digital, Croma, Poorvika, Sangeetha Mobiles, Vijay Sales among others. The Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs 82,000 for the 128GB variant and will be available in Just Black and Black and White colour options.

The Google Pixel 2 XL was launched alongside its smaller sibling, the Pixel 2 last month and both offer the latest version of Android. The Pixel 2 XL is made by LG and it sports an 18:9 display aspect ratio with thinner top and bottom bezels and shrunken glass panel at the back.

The Pixel 2 XL sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ P-OLED display but since its launch, the display has been part of some issues. The Pixel 2 XL users started noticing blue shift and screen burn-in on the display and there are even reports of the touchscreen becoming unresponsive near the edge of the display. Last week, Google rolled out an update that brought a new colour profile and mitigates some of these issues.

The Pixel 2 XL is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and an option for either 64GB or 128GB internal storage. It sports a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, Dual Pixel autofocus, optical and electronic image stabilisation. The camera software uses additional data captured by the Dual Pixel technology to produce portrait shots. The Pixel 2 XL gets an 8MP front camera that uses machine learning to capture portrait-mode selfies.

On the connectivity front, the Pixel 2 XL supports WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS and 4G LTE. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with the November Security patch and includes additional features like Active Edge that allows user to open the Google Assistant by squeezing the edge of the device. There is also a Pixel-exclusive featue called Google Lens, which pulls up additional information about a photo or signboard on the screen.

The Pixel 2 XL is IP67 water and dust resistant and sports front-firing stereo speakers. There is a fingerprint sensor located at the back of the device, but there isn't a 3.5mm audio jack. The Pixel 2 XL is backed by a 3450mAh battery and supports fast charging via an 18W USB Type-C adapter. With Pixel 2 XL, Google is offering two years warranty and promised software update for two years. You can rear our full review of the Google Pixel 2 XL here.
