Just like last year, Google is expected to unveil two Nexus devices this time around as well. The smaller of the two, reportedly codenamed Sailfish, has now been spotted on benchmarking websites, AnTuTu and Geekbench. A Weibo user posted a screenshot of the phone’s AnTuTu listing, and as per the image, it sports a Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The listing also states that the device runs Android NMR1, which stands for Android Nougat Manufacturer Release 1. The phone is tipped to sport 13MP and 8MP cameras, and offer 32GB of native storage.
The listing on Geekbench corroborates the presence of the Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM. It also states that the phone scored 2158 in the single core test and 5355 in multi-core test, which is close to what other Snapdragon 820-powered devices like the OnePlus 3 and LeEco Le Max2 have scored. Previous listings also showed the same specifications, including the 5.1-inch Full HD display and 32GB storage.
To recall, HTC is tipped to be making both Nexus devices this year, and reports suggest that the larger of the two is codenamed Marlin. It is speculated that 'Marlin' will feature similar specifications as the Sailfish, but is tipped to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display.
