Gionee Marathon M3 with 5000 mAh battery launched at Rs. 12,999
Gionee Marathon M3 comes with 5-inch full HD display, 8MP camera and 8GB built in storage.
Gionee has launched a new Android smartphone called Marathon M3. Powered by a 5000 mAh battery, the Gionee Marathon M3 is said to deliver 32.46 hours of talktime on 3G and 51 hours on 2G. The smartphone is available online for Rs. 12,999.
Gionee's new Marathon M3 has a 5-inch 720p display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has 8GB built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB. The Marathan M3 sports 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Marathon M3 supports WLAN Direct, USB Internet (Sharing Windows PC internet via USB cable), ,Gionee Xender, Hotknot and Smart gesture.
Gionee recently made the headlines by making the world record for the slimmest smartphone. Gionee's latest smartphone – Elife S5.1 – has made it Guinness Book of World Records as world's slimmest smartphone. The smartphone has a 5.1 mm shell featuring glass and metal.
According to reports, Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is working on an ultraslim smartphone that will beat the Gionee Elife S5.5 and Oppo R5 with a thickness of just 4mm.
