Gionee M7 Power with 5000mAh battery, bezel-less display launched at Rs 16,999

Gionee has launched its latest smartphone, the M7 Power in India. Priced at Rs 16,999, it will be available in Blue, Gold and Black colour variants across all retail stores starting November 25. The highlight of the device is its large 5000mAh battery and a 6-inch Univisium display. The M7 Power was first launched in China back in September and is the company’s first bezel-less smartphone offering.

Pre-bookings for the M7 Power can be done via Amazon starting November 17. Buyers pre-booking the device will get exclusive offers like extra Rs 3,000 off on exchange and extra 10GB 4G data from Jio for 10 months on recharging their connection with Rs 309 and above. Customers will also get a one-time free screen replacement within 6 months from the date of activation of the smartphone. Additionally, the device can be purchased with a no cost EMI starting at Rs 1,417 per month.

The Gionee M7 Power sports a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 1440 x 720 resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. 

The Gionee M7 Power sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. It comes with an 8MP front facing camera for selfies. The smartphone comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Last month, Gionee launched its X1s smartphone in India. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Mediatek MT6737T quad-core processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with a dual LED flash and comes with a 16MP front facing camera with flash. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The X1s was launched a at price of Rs 12,999.
