Gionee M6S Plus launched with 6-inch display, 6GB RAM and 6020mAh battery
The Gionee M6S Plus is the latest big battery smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker. The handset will go on sale on May 2
Gionee has added another smartphone to its battery-centric M series with the launch of the M6S Plus. The smartphone announced today features a huge 6020mAh battery, a large 6-inch display, 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The Gionee M6S Plus is a follow-up to M2017 launched in December last year. The smartphone features a metal unibody design and comes in black colour option. The smartphone features a 6-inch AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Gionee M6S Plus comes with 6GB RAM and options for either 64GB or 256GB storage option. It also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
The Gionee M6S Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and the graphics duty is taken care of by an Adreno 510 GPU. On the camera front, Gionee M6S Plus sports a 12MP rear shooter with LED flash and support for full HD video recording. The front camera is an an 8MP shooter with support for different beautification modes.
Gionee M6S Plus is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for dual standby and runs Amigo 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It offers 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB 2.0 with OTG support. The 8.25mm thick device weighs 215 grams and offers a 3.5mm audio jack. Priced at 3,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 35,000), the smartphone is currently available for pre-booking in China and the first flash sale will be held on May 2.
