Gionee has launched two new smartphones – Pioneer P5L and Gionee CTRL V6L. Priced at Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively, the new Gionee phones come with LTE connectivity for India.
The Gionee Pioneer P5L has a 4.7-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The phone sports 5MP rear camera with LED flash and has 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with 8GB built-in storage, supports additional storage via microSD.
Connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. It is powered by an 1800mAh battery.
The Gionee CTRL V6L has a 5-inch 720p display. It runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core procesor along with 1GB of RAM. The Gionee CTRL V6L smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD.
The Gionee CTRL V6L comes with 8MP with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. Connectiviy options include the Gionee CTRL V6L includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone is powered by a 1950mAh battery.
There are a very few LTE phones in India right now. The new Gionee phones are among few LTE smartphones in the budget category.
Gionee recently launched Marathon M3 with 5-inch full HD display, 8MP camera and 8GB built in storage. The main highlight of the smartphone is the 5000 mAh battery, rated to deliver 32.46 hours of talktime on 3G and 51 hours on 2G.
