Generative AI is getting all the attention and more from big tech brands. And now, South Korean company Samsung has also entered the chat by introducing its own generative AI model called the ‘Samsung Gauss’. The Samsung Gauss was unveiled during the Samsung AI Forum 2023 event that was hosted at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology R&D campus. Let’s find out more about it.
Additionally, Samsung’s new AI model is also expected to be featured in the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. According to Samsung’s executives, by 2024 Samsung is going to incorporate generative AI into core features of its mobile. This most likely will happen with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and the ones that come after it.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series is already highly anticipated and if Samsung introduces AI to it before the launch, then the product could get a big selling point. If instead of relying on cloud-powered large language models and running some generative AI android image and language models locally then it could become a huge thing.

Samsung Gauss majorly offers these three things: Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image. Let’s take a look at each of these.

The Samsung Gauss is currently being used internally by Samsung employees. However, it is working steadily to roll it out soon. If things go as planned, then it will soon be available to the general public most probably with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to release next year in January.
