The phone is also rumored to have an infinity display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8+

While people are still recovering from the Note7 debacle, alleged images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 have started doing the rounds. The phone was seen in a couple of images on Facebook flaunting its dual camera setup as well as what seems like the new S-pen. The image suggests that the phone may have a similar glass back as the S8. The image also shows the fingerprint scanner at the back, which suggests that even though Qualcomm has the technology, Samsung might still be figuring things out.

While the leak does not come with any specifications, rumours suggest that the phone might be similar to the Galaxy S8+ in most aspects. Previous reports point towards the smartphone being powered by an Exynos 8895 SoC. This is the same SoC used by the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ phones. This falls in line with what Samsung has been doing in the past, using the Galaxy S series SoC on its flagship Note phones. It is also expected that the device will sport 6GB of RAM along with 64GB built-in storage in the base variant. It was previously reported that the Galaxy Note 8 might feature a smaller 3300mAh battery, just to be on the safer side. Improvements are also expected to be made to the S-Pen.

The phone is supposed to have a 6.3-inch dual curved infinity display, rocking a QHD+ resolution. It is expected to have the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio. A previous reports suggest that Samsung may launch the phone in early September and might be priced at Rs. 72,000.
