The Nokia C1 has been a part of the rumour mill for quite some time now, and new information circulating the Internet suggests the specifications and display size of the smartphone. The new images show the smartphone running on Android, skinned with the Z launcher. The smartphone is expected to launch in Grey, White, and Peach colour variants. The C1 is also expected to launch in two variants – one with a 5-inch display, and the other with a 5.5-inch display. Both the displays will have a resolution of 1920x1080p.
The smaller variant of the Nokia C1 will sport 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of built-in storage. The rear of the device will house an 8MP camera, and the front will have a 5MP camera. The 5.5-inch variant of the Nokia C1 will sport 3GB of RAM coupled with 64GB built-in storage. The rear will have a 13MP camera and the front will have a 5MP camera.
Previous leaks of the device stated that it will launch in two variants – Android and Windows. We are not expecting a launch before Q4 2016, and this is because of the Nokia-Microsoft deal, where Microsoft acquired Nokia back in 2014. Post this deal, Nokia can re-enter the market with its own smartphones, again. Nokia has been one of the longest-running and trusted feature phone brand in India. Before the iPhone revolution, Nokia had an interesting series of smartphones that catered to a variety of audience. Remember the Nokia 1100, for those looking for a sturdy feature phone with great battery life? Or the Nokia 6600, for the budding businessman? Or the N-Gage and N-Gage QD for the gamer in you?
