E-commerce retail sites have offered similar discounts for a range of Apple smartphones
The recent launch of the Apple iPhone 7 series combined with the Diwali shopping season has resulted in some attractive discounts being offered for prospective Apple customers.
While the 16GB variants of the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are now priced at Rs 33,990 on Flipkart and Rs 40,990 on Amazon respectively, the 64GB variant of the iPhone 6 is priced at Rs. 44,999 on Flipkart. The iPhone 6s 64GB is available for Rs. 51,972 on Amazon.
Similarly the 16GB variant of the iPhone 6 Plus can now be bought for Rs. 40,099 on Amazon, while the 64GB version is available at Rs. 47,999. The iPhone 6s Plus 16GB is available at Rs. 49,400, with the 64GB version of the phone retailing at Rs. 59,998. Other variants such as the iPhone SE, is now priced at Rs. 30,950 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 41,042 for the 64GB variant.
Customers are also being lured by additional discounts. On Flipkart Citibank credit card customers can avail a minimum cashback of Rs. 3,000 while Axis Bank credit card users have been offered discounts of 5 percent extra. There is also a buyback offer, allowing customers to exchange their old smartphone for a new iPhone 6.
As for the latest offerings, the iPhone 7 starts at Rs. 60,000 for the 32GB variant while the most expensive handset, the iPhone 7 Plus 256GB, is priced at Rs. 90,000.
