The upcoming Moto G5 Plus smartphone will come with a buyback guarantee on Flipkart. The e-commerce platform is already promoting the smartphones, which is scheduled to launch in India tomorrow. The prices for the Moto G5 Plus haven’t been confirmed yet, however, Flipkart’s buyback program will start with the device. It also gives us some insight into how much the Moto G5 Plus will cost. Flipkart’s buyback guarantee for the device is Rs. 12,001, which means the Moto G5 Plus could easily cost as much as Rs. 17000. Of course, this is just a guess given the buy back amount.
The buyback guarantee basically promises a fixed exchange rate for the smartphone. That means if you chose to exchange the Moto G5 Plus for another device in future, you will get a discount of Rs. 12,001. So, if you buy another phone priced at Rs. 20,000, you will be able to get it for just below Rs. 8,000, by exchanging the Moto G5 Plus.
The buyback amount doesn’t change based on market fluctuations, and will be applicable for six to eight months after purchasing the Moto G5 Plus. The device will still be available for exchange after this period, but the guarantee will no longer be applicable. Of course, the regular rules about the phone being in good working conditions, with an intact display, also apply to the buyback offer.
