First 3 smartphones to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

The iQOO 12 will be the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in India.
OnePlus also confirmed the OnePlus 12 to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Xiaomi 14 series will also feature the latest Qualcomm processor.
Qualcomm has announced the next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The brand has announced the chipset at the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, US. Interestingly, Qualcomm is calling its new chipset the “Titan of on-device intelligence.” If we compare it to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which also counts as one of the most powerful processors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is 30 percent more powerful and 20 percent more efficient.
Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s announcement, smartphone brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, and iQOO have also announced their next flagship smartphones featuring the latest Qualcomm processor. Check out:
iQOO 12 5G
iQOO has just announced that its upcoming iQOO 12 5G will be the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in India. However, the brand has not disclosed the India launch date but it is announced to launch in China on November 7. So we can expect it to arrive in India in between December 2023 and January 2024.

OnePlus 12
OnePlus also confirmed the OnePlus 12 to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The brand announced this at the Snapdragon Summit event. Interestingly, OnePlus also showcased the OnePlus 12 at the event, which revealed the “Oriental Screen” equipped with Oppo’s Display P1 chip. The display will support up to 2K resolution.

Xiaomi 14
Xiaomi 14 series is also in the queue of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The smartphone series is said to include two models, which are the standard one and the Pro model. Xiaomi has announced the China launch of the Xiaomi 14 series. It will debut in China on October 26 and a few months later in India.
