Exclusive: Realme Narzo 50 5G images, key design details revealed
Realme Narzo 50 5G is set to launch on May 18.
The phone's design philosophy and images have leaked ahead of launch.
The device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
Realme Narzo 50 series is scheduled to get two new phones, with the company set to launch the Realme Narzo 50 5G and Realme Narzo 50 Pro in India at a virtual event in India next week. The phones have been teased multiple times over the last few days, revealing interesting details about them.
Ahead of the launch, we at Digit have managed to get our hands on exclusive, high-quality renders and marketing images of the device, along with some important information about the design of the phone. These come courtesy of our industry sources, who also reveal the Narzo 50 5G will be quite thin at 8mm and also sport a 2D design. Further, we've learned that the design inspiration behind the Narzo 50 5G is the Kevlar speed texture design language which can be seen clearly in the images accessed by us. Combined, these give us an accurate idea of not only what the phone will look like once it's finally launched in the country, but also its design philosophy.
As we can see, the phone features a rectangular camera module with two camera sensors and a dual-LED flash. The images accessed by us also confirm the device will be available in Blue, with a stripped textured pattern running through the back and Narzo logo on the bottom left corner. We have also learned that the phone will also be sold in a Black colour variant, however, it will be a much darker shade of black than we've seen in previously leaked low-quality renders of the phone.
Realme Narzo 50 5G: Expected specs
While the company has confirmed some details about the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G, we still await official information about the Realme Narzo 50 5G. Unlike the Pro model, which has already been confirmed to house the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset underneath the hood, the Narzo 50 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. This is expected to be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The hardware will be tasked to run a copy of Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 with support for Virtual RAM expansion.
Other leaks suggest that the Realme Narzo 50 5G could feature a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with support for FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. For cameras, there will be a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Keeping the lights on the device will be a 4,800mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
