Oppo launched its R11 smartphone in China back in June this year. The smartphone’s release in India was just a rumour till now, however, we received insider info on the sidelines of the ongoing Indian Mobile Congress that the smartphone will be launched in India soon. The device was launched as a successor to the Oppo R9 and is priced approximately at 3233 Yuan (Rs 29,702 approx directly converted) in China.

The Oppo R11 sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 660 platform and features 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage. It sports a dual camera setup at the rear with 20MP + 16MP sensors with support for 2x optical zoom. It also comes with a 20MP front facing camera. A unique feature of the device is its capability to support dual VoLTE on both the SIM cards. Qualcomm has recently unveiled its new 'MT6739' chipset which supports dual VoLTE and Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) with either 4G+4G (L+L) or 4G+3G (L+W).

The Oppo R11 is backed by a 3000mAh battery and runs on the company's ColorOS atop Android 7.1 Nougat. It was launched in Gold, Rose Gold and Black colour models in China. In our first impressions of the Oppo R11, we noted that the smartphone seemed quite similar to the OnePlus 5 from the back. It sports a decent display and a good overall build quality.
