HIGHLIGHTS

A Zauba.com listing shows that the HTC One X9 was brought to India for testing on February 9.

The HTC One X9 is already being prepped for India. According to listings on Zauba.com, the device, which HTC just announced at MWC, is already being tested in India. The import listing also shows a value of Rs. 51,565 against the device, which puts it in the flagship range. Of course, this isn’t the final pricing for the product, but we should know that soon. In addition, there is no known launch date for the product at the moment, but if it’s being tested already, then it shouldn’t be long. We have reached out to HTC for more information on the same and will update this article as soon as we hear from them.

The HTC One X9 was announced at MWC 2016 today and boasts the MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. The phone looks a lot like the HTC One A9, launched last year, and runs on Android Marshmallow. It has a 5.5 inch FHD display, 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It also brings back HTC’s BoomSound speakers, with Dolby Surround sound.
