The new Poco M6 Plus 5G has been launched alongside the Poco Buds X1 in the country.

It is a budget smartphone and comes at a starting price of Rs 11,999.

It features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2400x1080 resolution.

Poco has just launched its latest budget smartphone, the Poco M6 Plus 5G in India. The new Poco phone has been launched alongside the Poco Buds X1 in the country. Both the devices were exclusively unveiled for Times Network and Digit by Himanshu Tandon, Country Head of Poco India. At the same time, he also unboxed the phone and revealed its Indian price. 

The Poco M6 Plus is a budget smartphone and comes at a starting price of Rs 11,999. Moreover, the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 13,499. It is available in three colour options: Misty Lavender, Ice Silver, and Graphite Black.

Poco M6 Plus 5G specifications

Speaking of the design first, the Poco M6 Plus features a glass back and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It weighs 205g and has an IP53 rating. This phone is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Next, the Poco M6 Plus 5G features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2400×1080 resolution. 

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chipset and comes in two storage variants, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. On the software front, it runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.

For photography, it uses a dual camera setup with a 108-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13-megapixel front camera. 

Within the camera app, you get various modes such as a 108MP mode for high-detail photos, 3x In-Sensor Zoom for close-ups, and Smart Night mode for low-light conditions. Other options include Macro for close-up shots, Pro mode for manual settings, Panorama for wide views, and Watermark. Additional features include Beautify, HDR, Google Lens, Voice Shutter, Art Framing, and Stickers for added fun.

Lastly, you get a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
