Elephone Vowney, the dual-booting smartphone, is available for pre-order now. It is priced at $299.99 (approx. Rs. 19,851), and dual-boots Windows 10 Mobile and Android Lollipop v5.0. Pre-orders can be made from Elephone's website, and the smartphone will be officially released on September 30.

Apart from the dual-boot feature, the phone packs in good specs as well. It sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a pixel density of 535ppi. It runs on a quad-core Intel processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a 20.7MP rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX230 sensor, dual-LED flash and support for 4K video recording. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor at the back, along with a 4200mAh battery at the back. The phone has 64GB of built-in storage, and supports storage expansion of upto 64GB.

There is also another variant of the phone that runs on Android Lollipop v5.0 only. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, and a 3800mAh battery. The phone was first spotted at a Hong Kong trade fair in April this year. 

Elephone could also be the first smartphone maker to unveil a phone running on MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chipset, the Helio X20. Elephone P9000 was listed on the company’s website, featuring Helio X20 SoC along with 4GB of RAM. As per the listing, the device is priced at $499.99 (Rs. 33,034), and will go on sale from October 20 this year.
