Every Android smartphone OEM is on its toes as Google's latest update for its mobile OS platform has a plethora of changes to deal with. Today we've learnt that apart from the Nexus 5, LG is working to bring the latest update to its current flagship smartphone, the G3
Thanks to some leaked screenshots of what looks like an initial Android 5.0 Lollipop build for the G3, we can confirm that it will still retain most of the Optimus UI and there wont be massive UI changes just like Galaxy S5 build that we had seen a week back.
The screenshots confirm that there will be some Material Design changes including notifications, new shadows and animations that come with Android 5.0.The source also confirms that the UI is quite smooth and stable. This leak also answers a crucial question for Android owners, how much of a visual change will Android 5.0 bring on devices laden with custom UI? Of course stock Android users will get a huge overhaul, but the previous Galaxy S5 and today's leak gives us an indication that we might not see a huge change in the overall look of Android on non-stock devices.
