Xolo has launched a new budget device called the A500S, which is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone is available in a choice of four colours, black, blue, red and white, at Rs. 6,999.
The Xolo A500S smartphone has a 4-inch TFT display with 480×800 pixels resolution and 233ppi pixel density. It has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Mali 400 MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone comes with a 5MP primary camera with LED Flash and supports up to 720p video recording. It also has a VGA front snapper for video calling and self portrait.
The Xolo A500S comes with 512MB of RAM, apart from 4GB of built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support. It has a slim design and is just 9mm thick. On the connectivity front the phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and aGPS support. The A500S supports dual-SIM (3G 2G) with dual standby and has a 1400 mAh battery that according to the company gives 10 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 8 hours on 3G.
Xolo has preloaded the A500S with added security with the Xolo Secure Anti – theft app, which backs up the user’s calls, SMS and has an inbuilt phone tracker.
Xolo had recently launched the Q1000 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphone, which has a 5-inch IPS LCD display, with 1280 x 720 pixels display resolution and a 294ppi. It has a powerful 1.2GHz quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support. The Xolo Q1000 was launched for Rs. 14,999.
