Dell Venue – the younger sibling of Dell Venue Pro based on Windows Phone 7 platform, has been reportedly spotted on Dell India website. Its global release took place last week at Hong Kong and Dell seems to be capitalizing on the new year festive season for the grand Indian launch in the first week of January 2011. Reportedly priced around 700,000KRW in Korea, the Dell Venue is estimated to cost around Rs. 30,000 in India at the time of launch.

Dell Venue is expected to ship with the Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform and topped by the Dell Stage UI. It is said that Dell Venue is a clone of the Dell Venue Pro sans the QWERTY slider-keypad. It sports a 4.1-inch 24-bit AMOLED touch-screen display incorporating Gorilla glass technology and a high resolution of 800×480, which makes it suitable for viewing High-Definition content & web-surfing.
