Rumors have been ripe for sometime for the Nokia Asha 502, successor to the popular Nokia Asha 501. Now the first images have been leaked of the colorful smartphone.
@evleaks has tweeted the images of the Nokia Asha 502 and has also hinted that the smartphone may be announced in the fourth quarter of this year. The leaked images reveal that new Asha 502 will have a similar design to its predecessor Asha 501.
The images reveal that the Nokia smartphone will have a rear camera with LED flash that was missing in its predecessor. The phone looks like its comes preloaded with Line instant messaging app and the image showcases the device in a glass casing that will likely come bundled with the device.
Past specifications that have been leaked of the Asha 502 include a 3.2 to 3.5-inch scratch resistant display with a higher resolution than the Asha 501. The smartphone is expected to have 128 to 512MB of RAM and is also expected to come with Dual SIM functionality. The Asha 502 will support 3G connectivity, a 5MP rear camera and will have the new Nokia Camera app for Asha devices.
The Nokia Asha 501 was launched earlier this year supports a 3-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, and has a 3.5MP camera. It has 128MB of built-in storage, expandable via microSD to 32GB. The smartphone is powered by a 1200 mAh battery, that delivers 17 hours of talktime, and 48 days of standby times. The device is available in bright red, bright green, yellow, cyan, white and black colors.
